Of course, Moses was not alive at the time. This hinges on the belief that the Bible is the inspired word of God. As you know, this is not provable. I can only tell you that I believe it so....due to the fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That event confirms the Bible as the word of God, regardless of any objections at all.
(That is why the secular converts use every means at their disposal to undermine this event. If they are wrong, then their very eternity is forfeit. Did you ever hear of Mortimer Adler? His conversion to Christianity would be something to study.)
The apostle Paul turned from being a determined persecutor of Christians to the greatest evangelist for Christ. He had the backing of the witnesses still alive, as the resurrection account could be proven by upwards of 500 personal testimonies. He is a historical figure confirming the events of history. It is especially telling to see that the Jews never denied Jesus' miraculous powers. The best they could do was claim that he did his miracles by the power of Satan.
Make no mistake about it, our Lord claimed equality with God. he was not 'just a man' or a 'good teacher' or even a 'prophet'. He was either God the son or a lunatic. I know and believe fully, in my heart, under the power of the Holy Spirit (whom I see in my life and the lives of others) that Jesus Christ was God and man...still is.
I know that that doesn't amount to a 'hill of beans' to anyone else but then my goal is not to be 'popular', 'respected' or whatever. My sole purpose is to preach that 'heaven's glory and hell's hot'.

You want freedom to choose or not choose God instead of being a puppet, right? That drama has been played out for 6000 years and you have exactly what you wanted. "I am the 'captain of my fate' and I choose my lifestyle. I am responsible to no one and no one else is."
Yep, you have the very thing that humanity has asked for. Live with it and quit whining or, maybe you could actually do something to make the world a better place in a little way?
God acts when He chooses and in His way and at His time. He provided us with a saviour and a life free to choose Him or not. The victory was won clear back at the cross and it is your own fault if you do not take His offer.

Did you know that Planned Parenthood in NY generously offered to have abortions performed for free to all who wanted them? My, isn't THAT just a typical example of the charity of the godless? Most Christians know very little about the Bible. They rely too much on what others say the Bible says, but they don't study it and learn for themselves. Even fewer Christians understand anything about Islam. They don't know that the Koran was written in the seventh century about events that Mohammed did not witness, unlike the Bible, which was written by people who witnessed the events.
Mohammed never performed a miracle. He didn't follow his own teachings except the ones that benefitted him and his leutenants. They fought over control of his empire when he died and have been fighting ever since.
This bunch ruined a culture superior to much of the west, much like the communist chinese ruined thier ancestor's culture.They don't know that Muslims have no assurance of heaven, other than martyrdom. There is no concept of personal sin or salvation.

'Lost' redux

what's surprising is that they (the lost) think that pulling scriptures out of context, isolating mosaic laws mean't for one purpose and one time, is somehow refuting scripture.. they like to ignore the fact that jesus is the revealed yahweh and he sets the mark, not any organisation nor any pious individual.
we relate scripture to him and we interpret scripture by his life amongst mankind.

I remind you that you have a secret fear in your hearts; that fear is that 'Christendom was right all along'.

The biggest lie propagated here is the contention that Christianity has no valid teachings and there is no difference between Christ's life, His example and the various false teachings in the world.Atheistic Liberals love to claim that Christians who will not knuckle under to their assertions are somehow violating their own beliefs.
